Over the recent years, cash has somewhat escaped from peoples wallet in exchange for credit/debit cards, apple/google pay, and venmo. These digital methods of payment have been popular amongst the majority of the population. As a big time sporting event goer, I have recently seen that stadiums and arena now have stands and shops where you are no longer allowed to pay with cash. Instead you must use a card or your phone. It seems as if major sporting venues are trying to eliminate cash from their stands and shops.
This is a rough draft of the final project. I added text at the end which lacks any movement or general animation which will be fixed for the final. Also for the finished product there will be more pictures and way more animation to make it not as boring as it looks now with just pictures and b-roll which is all of the visual elements of this draft. To get the audio story onto my timeline I saved my audio story to my computer and imported it to my bin. https://youtu.be/4NM_vpYhb_M
A vast majority of people in today's society have moved on from using cash as there preffered way to pay. As an alternative people are turning to their credit/debit cards or new technology like contactless cards, apple pay/ google pay, or visa checkout/masterpass which makes paying more secure and faster. Since these ways to pay have become more popular than using old fashioned cash, many sports and concert venues have gone cashless only allowing cards or mobile payment devices to be used as ways to pay. While there are obvious reasons why this should be done there is an argument against it as not everyone hasn't completely ditched cash like people who don't own a credit card or don't even have a bank account. Should all major sporting/concert venues become cash-free? You'll find more on this debate in the video above.
